Michael's Angel Paws is a 501c3 that strives to make a difference in the lives of individuals and the community through the hope and magic that dogs can bring. We are a team of passionate dog lovers who believe that the bond we share with your dog is everlasting. Through our different training programs, Michael's Angel Paws will help enhance your relationship with your four-legged best friend to help you live a life of love and adventure. 

 

On September 13th, 2011 we welcomed our angel Michael Charles Gerken into our lives and our hearts. We didn’t take for granted those precious hours we spent with Michael that night. Having been blessed with a son for just a few short hours made a tremendous impact on our lives. We have chosen to remember this day, not as his birth or death, but as the day he became our angel.

As I recuperated medically and emotionally, I was determined to not let Michael’s brief time here on earth go unnoticed. I knew that if he had survived, he would have needed a Service Dog to help mitigate his disabilities and as a mother, I would do anything to help my son. 

  

 Michael's Angel Paws was founded on, and is dedicated to helping our communities and ultimately our commitment to Helping Others Pawsitively Every day or H.O.P.E.  In my many years as a leader in the canine community, I would often hear over and over the word H.O.P.E. I was able to take that inspirational word, the legacy of our angel Michael and with the tremendous love and support from my family, I founded this organization to help those who want a better quality of life from a Service Dog.
